- A brand may comprise of a logo, slogan, colour that people associate with the brand

- Approach an advertising agency to help them solve their business problem.
advertising agency role:
- understanding the brand: agency will create an advertising campaign to help the brand communicate their message. The agency will work with the brand to understand what they want and who they are trying to communicate with.
-Creating a creative concept: the agency have to create a creative concept for the campaign they are making for the brand. Consisting of a simple idea which will interpreted and modified for each channel or media platform.
The over arching theme will connect all the elements of the campaign to draw attention to the brand and solve their business problems.
different channels: An advertising campaign is a series of advertisement messages that share a single idea and theme. Advertising campaigns appear in different media across a specific time frame.
Advertising agencies will strategically plan the best methods to communicate to the brands target audience.
The method or channels they use will depend on the audience.
The agency will reinforce the colour scheme, mirror the messages and ideas.
use of new technology: viral videos, social media and smart technology
viral videos = a popular process of internet sharing. Video relies on a hook to draw audience in.
social media = a tool brands use to talk to their audience, creating an online presence through posting and sharing content.
smart technology= smart phones and tablets can pass time commuting, this is when audience may see adverts. Brands can create or sponsor apps to draw customers attention.
